Joseph was living on a farm in Jerseyville, Illinois, with his bother John in 1900. This is where he was still living when he got married on February 6, 1907. Officiating at the wedding was his brother, Emil L. Gerardi, Catholic Priest. The witnesses were John Winkler & Charlotte Collignon.
In 1920 the family was living on a farm in the O’Fallon -Caseyville area and his mother was living with them. Ruth Gerardi is still on that farm, a retired school teacher, as of July 1,1994.
