John E Baumann, 41, of 188 N. Dries St., Saukville, was pronounced dead-on-arrival Sunday at St. Josephs Hospital, West Bend, after being stricken with an apparent heart attack. Born in Port Washington on December 25, 1927, he was a son of Ruben and Elsa Baumann. He graduated from St. Marys School in Port Washington, served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952, and was currently employed at the Est Co. in Grafton. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, St. Henry Court, the Holy Name Society of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Sukville, and was chaplain of American Legion, Landt-Thiel Post 470, Saukville. Survivors are his wife; one son, David, 15, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mr.Ruben Baumann of Port Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Al (Henrietta) Lecher of Grafton and Mrs. Victor (Gladys) Roden of Saukville; and three brothers, Ruben of Saukville, Anthony of Port Washington and William of Austin, Minn. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Saukville with the Rev. Paul Weishar, pastor, celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
