Oshkosh Northwestern, Friday, Mar. 31, 1978 Edward Adam (or Adam Edward) 85, of 1902 Grove St., Oshkosh, died early today at Mercy Medical Center. He was born Jan. 13, 1893, in New Holstein, the son of Louis and Barbara Williams Bahrs. He was married to Emma Bargenquast, Nov. 18, 1913, in New Holstein. Mr. Bahrs was educated in Kiel public schools, lived in Chilton for three years after his marriage, then located on a farm in the town of New Holstein, where he also operated a milk trucking service for 44 years. He moved to Oshkosh nine months ago. He was a member of St. Johnís United Church of Christ, and was organizer and active member of Interdenominational Dartball League, both of New Holstein. Surviving are his widow; one son, Lester, Oshkosh; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Johnís United Church of Christ, the Rev. Albert K. Borns officiating. Burial will be in Kiel Cemetery. Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 4 p.m. Monday, until 11 a.m. Tuesday, and then at the church from noon until the time of services.
