Sheboygan Press, Saturday December 2, 1939 Port Washington - In a ceremony performed by the Rev. Peter Hildebrand at St. Marys Catholic Church here Thursday at 8 a.m., Miss Henrietta Baumann, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Ruben Baumann 533 wisconsin street, this city, became the bride of Alois Lecher, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Alois Lecher, town of Grafton. The bride was attired in a white satin dress with a train, a long veil and white satin sandals. She carried a bouquet of red roses, baby mums and sweet peas. The maid of honor, Miss Lucile Wellenstein; the bridesmaid, Miss Arelia Wellenstein, both cousins of the bride, and the junior bridesmaid, Gladys Baumann, wore gowns of royal blue, rose and peacock blue, respectively. All carried bouquets of tea roses and baby mums. Leroy Lecher attended is brother as best man, while E. Schmit was the groomsman. Following the ceremony, a reception was helt at the home of the brides parents and in the evening a reception was held at Columbia hall here for about 200 relaties and friends. The newlyweds will reside on the farm of the bridegrooms parents on Ulso road.

March 2004: Henrietta W. Lecher A memorial Mass was held Thursday, March 18, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Henrietta W. Lecher who died at her residence on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at the age of 84 years. Father Mike Barrett officiated at the ceremony. Inurnment was at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Port Washington.

Mrs. Lecher was born Dec. 22, 1919 in Milwaukee the daughter of the late Rubin and Elsie (Williams) Baumann. She married Alois Lecher on Nov. 30, 1939 in Port Washington. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1994. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Grafton. Survivors include: children Mary Ann Bintzler of Grafton, Judith (Dennis) Reagles of Reedsville, Barbara (Wayne) Brix of Cascade, Eileen (Cliff) Behm of Port Washington, Suzanne Rexford of West Bend, Michael (Lisa) Lecher of Grafton and Mark (Bonnie) Lecher of Grafton; grandchildren Brian (Charlene) Bintzler, Jill (Jeff) Feyrer, Jeff Bintzler, Jackie (Pete) Janus, Jeannie Sciachitano, Jeanette (Rick) Biertzer, Ryan Reagles, Chad Brix, Colin Brix and Aaron (Leah) Brix, Marisa (Jeremy) Gasiorowski, Justin Behm, Heather Meneau, Nicole Mineau, Corey Lecher, Kyle Lecher, Jennifer (Josh) Kurtz and Megan Lecher; great-grandchildren Krista Johnson, Nicholas and Terra Bintzler, Eric and Bret Feyrer, Jeff and Heather Bintzler, Cody and Courtney Janus, Christopher and Brittany Biertzer, Madelaine Brix and Ethan Kurtz; sister Gladys Roden of Saukville; brothers William Baumann of Minnesota and Ruben Baumann of Saukville; brothers-in-law Leroy (Lorraine) Lecher of Florida and Jim (Rita) Lecher of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alois; brothers, John, Anthony and Francis Baumann and son-in-law Nick Bintzler.
